FinnsAway site has been renewed!

Welcome to the renewed FinnsAway nomad adventures site! After a bit more than one year of blogging, it was time to update the layout of our site and enhance the usability and loading speed. Content of the site remains largely the same, but we have added some new sections like category “FinnsAway News and Short Stories”, and “Destination of the Month” section to the front page.

In FinnsAway News and Short Stories we share recent events and short stories, also about such destinations that may not be mentioned in wider blog posts. In Destination of the Month section we shortly introduce one country at a time, and link it to articles about our travels in there. The introduced destinations are selected according to the best time for a visit. We begin with Portugal, that probably is well worth a visit any time of the year, but in early autumn the weather is still warm and the highest summer season is already over, so you don’t have to visit the sights with hundreds of other tourists, or lie next to other sunbathers on a beach.

In Destinations page you can search travel stories and other blog posts based on a world map, or a list of visited countries. Navigation is now also easy in the main page of the Blog, as the posts are clearly categorized, and a new search function has been added. We keep writing not only about destinations, but also about travel costs, sports and nomad life.
